Judy Lee (Doyle) Fuller
Judy Lee (Doyle) FullerCross
Judy Lee (Doyle) Fuller, age 64, of Richwood, went home to be with her lord on Monday evening, July 7, 2008 at Marion General Hospital surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer that began in 2005.

On May 18, 1944, Judy was born in Magnetic Springs, Ohio, the daughter of the late Wallace E. and Ruth (Caskey) Doyle.  A graduate of North Union High School, she graduated in the top three of her class.

Loved by all, a kind and caring person, Judy began her career in the early 1970’s while working alongside her love and lifelong husband at Kenny’s Restaurant in Marysville, Ohio.  A few years later she continued her career path while working at Lawson’s Milk Mart in Marysville.  She and her husband  returned to the food business, while starting up Kenny’s Industrial Catering.  Here they met and served food to many business’ in the Delaware and Marysville area.  During the early 1980's, due to health reasons, the family moved to the Richwood area and shortly afterwards Judy worked at the 5&10 store downtown. It was in 1990, that Judy became infamous for becoming the “donut lady”.  Mrs. Reinison’s Donuts and later the Richwood Donut Shop became the meeting place for people far and near.  Whether it was just to get a cup of coffee or a donut to go, Judy was ALWAYS there to greet you with a smile and ask “How may I help you?”   For about 18 years Judy served the Richwood community, and even during her battle with cancer, you could always find Judy getting things ready to go by 4:30am every morning.

Judy was a member of the Richwood Church of Christ, where she was baptized many years ago.  She loved gardening, reading, and a passion for cooking.  Whether it was a holiday dinner, or submitting an excellent dish for the Richwood Fair, you could always find Judy in the kitchen. But her favorite past time, had to be spending time with her granddaughter Meghan.  It may have been coloring a picture, reading a book, or getting a snack, Judy loved life best while spending time with Meghan.

She will be extremely missed by her husband of 46 years Kenneth (Kenny); her son Eric (Maggie) of Richwood, two sisters: Grace Smith of Ostrander and Ann Hummel of Kilborne, along with many other family members. She was predeceased by 1 sister: Betty
Hempy and 1 brother: Bernard Doyle

Her family will greet family and friends on Thursday, July 10th from 5-8pm at Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, Ohio.  Funeral services will be held Friday at the Richwood Church of Christ on Sivey Road at 11:00 am Pastor Matt Craig will officiate.  Burial will follow in Price Cemetery.

Memorial gifts may be made to the funeral home at PO Box 122 Richwood, Ohio 43344, to help the family with expenses

Judy will be greatly missed by many people.  She had an amazing ability to bring light to the world around her and I am honored to have met such a champion.  May God wrap Kenny and his family in his arms and bring comfort and strength to them in this time of loss.

Hello:It was with deep regret that I read of Judy's passing on.I considered Judy one of my dearest friends. As you know I was up at the donut shop about every day when I was in Ohio.Dan Anderson and I were original members of the " Liars Club " and we truly enjoyed trying to trick Judy into a free cup of coffee or a donut by telling her it was our birthday or it was " free friday " but she would have none of that or stealing her newspaper while she was waiting on a customer so we could do the Word Jumble.Judy was well loved by all who knew her and I will miss her terribly. She was truly a wonderful person, Ping
