Barbara Jane Schaber
Barbara Jane SchaberMusicNotesBarbara Jane Schaber, age 68, of rural Marion, died Friday August 29, 2008 at 11:50 PM at her residence.

She was born January 11, 1940 in  Marion County to William and Betty (Mulvaine) Everly. Her father is deceased and her Mother survives living in Mt. Gilead.  On August 19, 1960 she married Buford L. Schaber and he survives.

Also surviving are two sons; Edward (Peggy) Primmer of NC, and Robert (Jamie) Schaber of Marysville.  Three daughters; Angela (Bruce) Martin of Marion, Joy (Gary) Steurer of Nevada, and Barbie (James) Creviston of Marion. Sixteen Grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren. One sister; Wanda (Gary) Faust of Cardington.  

She was preceded in death by one Great Grandson Blake Stephens, Two brothers; Nicholas Everly and William (Butch) Everly Jr.

Mrs. Schaber worked as a rural mail carrier for 18 years.  Attended Enterprise Baptist Church in Edison, Ohio.  Member of N.A.R.F.E., Marion Rental Assn., Marion Amateur Radio Club. She very much enjoyed Christian music and played several instruments. She loved her two dogs.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday September 3, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will be Pastor Ed Colegrove.  Burial in the LaRue Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from 5 to 8 PM on Tuesday.
Those who wish may make contributions to the Hospice at Marion General Hospital.

I am sorry to hear of Barbara's passing. I was a childhood acquaintance of hers when she and her family would visit her Grandmother and Grandfather Mulvaine. You have our sympathy. Harold And Pat Wren
