Theodore Wayne “Ted” Reynolds
Theodore Wayne “Ted” ReynoldsMasonryTheodore Wayne “Ted” Reynolds, age 58 of Richwood, died Sunday, May 24, 2009 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.  He was born May 13, 1951 in Mt. Vernon to Wayne and Ila (Brown) Reynolds.

He worked for the former B. F. Goodrich/Parker-Hannifin in Green Camp for 32 years.  He was a Past Master of Mt. Carmel #303 F & AM; member of Aladdin Shrine; Scottish Rite; Mary Chapter #9 OES; he was an officer in the Huber Museum in Marion; member of Mid-Ohio Antique Machinery Assn.  An avid ultra-light aircraft pilot, he enjoyed going to the Oshkosh Fly In and was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association.  A lover of speed and adventure, he raced for many years at Marion County International Raceway.  Ted was many things to many people, a teacher, engineer, prankster, mechanic, social worker, counselor, husband, father and friend.

On February 26, 1994 he married Patricia Rose Nicholas and she survives in Richwood.  He is also survived by h is daughter, Betsy (John) Trouten, Broadway and their children, Faith and Noah; his father, Wayne Reynolds, Mt. Vernon; his mother, Ila LaRue, Richwood; a brother, Tom (Candee) Reynolds, New Bloomington; three step-brothers, Daryl (Jessie) Reynolds, Mt. Vernon; Jeff Reynolds, Columbus; Wayne (Sandy) Reynolds Jr., Mt. Vernon; two step-sons, Troy (Anna) Nicholas, California and their children, Keely, Connor and Quinn; Chad (Laura) Nicholas, Kansas and their children, Kirsten, Skylar and Jamey; and a step-daughter, Krystal Nicholas and her son, Austin; his first wife, Carrie Braithwaite, Richwood; his “adopted” family, Laurie, Livvy, Shane, and Joe Compton, Cardington; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Friday, May 29, 2009 from 3 to 8 PM in the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood where a Masonic Service will be held at 8 PM.  A private family ceremony will be held at a later date.

I was just "giggling" the other of the memory of you calling me "chihuahua lips".   You happy face will always be missed.
