Dear Ruth Ann, Bill and Richard,

We were sorry to learn of the loss of your mother. She was quite a woman. She and my mother worked together for years preparing dinners at Green Camp School for all of us to serve to earn our trips to Washington. They were the same age but my mother has been gone since 1989. She was also a good friend to my Aunt Annabelle Converse and helped serve their golden anniversary party.
Our family sends our sympathy to you in the passing of this dear lady.
Sincerely,
Dick and Donna Lawrence

Lucy will be sadly missed by me and my Daughter Houston who met her just a few years ago, when Richard told me about her passing this morning I felt like I had lost one of the best Friends and Mother i ever had, for when I run around with Charles her Son for so many years she made me feel like a member of her Family,She and Edwin always made me at home when Andy (Charles) and i came home from different Races and where ever we went,And what a great Man he was, I had just attended her last Birthday party snd was looking forward to several more,She made my Day cause when i walked in she was so nice as always and for her age we talked about the past as always with her Son Charles. She was indeed a grand Lady and Mother to her Family, and She always included me as one of her Family, that always made me feel so good , Me and Houston will miss her dearly, But Bill and Richard will keep the Family in tact for her i am sure of this, Sincerly Duke and Family
