Was deeply saddened to hear of Johns passing. He was very helpful and patient with me when I began st NAPA in 1977. He had been a good customer at the store since its opening in 1976,consequently, he knew more about the NAPA system than I did. I continued to learn a lot from him in the 30 plus years that I knew him and he will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Sincerely,
Mike and Debbie Miller

John was my brother-in-law for nearly 47 years and pleasant to be around.  He had a serious side and also a joyful side to him.  He will certainly be missed by myself and by his immediate family.  My heart goes out to his mother, Dorothy Butcher, to his wife and my sister Carol Butcher, to his children Mike Butcher and Julie Ross, and also to his grandchildren.  May he rest in peace in his new home with our Father.

With deepest sympathy.
