(Lucas Oil); the National Tractor Pullers Assn.; a lifetime member of Pheasants Forever, where he was very active with youth hunting; member of National Wild Turkey Federation and the Elks Lodge of Kenton.

Besides his wife, he is survived by children, RaeLynn (Jerry) Jordan, Richwood; Terry (Vaso) Stojic, Mesa, AZ; Charles (Kim Edens) Wilcox, Sacramento, CA; Debbie (Glen) Gratz, Richwood; Jo Anne Wilcox, Byhalia; 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Helen) Kale, Richwood; sisters Bernita (Dom) Liberatore, LaPorte, IN; and Gloria (Gary) Cunningham, Marysville.  He was preceded in death by one grandson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 1:00 PM in the Richwood Church of Christ with Pastor Matt Craig officiating.  Burial will follow in Byhalia Cemetery.  Friends may call from 2 to 8 PM on Monday in the Richwood Church of Christ.  The family is being assisted by Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood.

To the entire family, May your memories sustain you thru your sorrow and turn to gold spun threads to warm your heart in the future. DeLynn was a remarkable man and I was honored to work with him on his parts catalog "years" ago thru the origional ABN and then watch him at the Ohio State Fair Sale of Champions in more recent times. May his passions guide the next generations.

My sincere sympathy to the family of DeLynn Kale. I knew DeLynn briefly through my dealer visits for CNH Capital. I remember De
Lynn showing me the 2 elk heads in the dealership, saying he shot one and proudly saying Eilene shot the other. Sounds like a good partnership to me. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Sheila Tracy

Delynn left a huge impression in my life.  I've watched him pour his whole heart into everything he had.  I was just sharing with dad tonight, I can remember the last time I watched his 880 pull at London, and I can remember the first time "Something Different" was brought out Labor Day weekend there in Richwood. He always had a bright smile and a kind word.  It's very rare in life that a child-hood icon becomes your friend and I am glad I was able to call Delynn a friend.  Going to pulls won't quite be the same without him there.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

It will be a terrific day when we can join in the celebration!

I'll never forget that sheepest grin or smile he would get on his face when he was talking about his tractors. From the 88 Field Stocker to Ride the Lighting, Delynn truly worked hard, play hard and loved every minute of life. My we thank the Lord that he is at peace and the pains of life has passed, and that by faith and belief we will see him again.
To Eilene, RaeLynn, Terry and all the family our prayers our with you and may God's love, peace and joy surround you during this time and the days to come.

We know in our hearts that DeLynn is driving that big pulling tractor in the sky. He is surely with our Lord, content and at peace. May God shine his countenance upon you. May He ease your saddness and envelop you in His arms, warming your spirit in the knowledge that DeLynn is sharing the tremendous rewards that Heaven holds for us. Our tears are both of saddness and joy, waiting for our turn to join them in blessed eternity. Our love always, call on us for anything, Gina, Dirk, Andrea, Casey, and families, P.S. Life will not be the same without Uncle DeLynn.  He would always raise his eye brows and smile when he greeted you.  I too had a nickname, no thanks to my brother Troy, Uncle DeLynn just shortened it to make it nicer.  I don't think I've heard him say my real name in over 25 years, it was always "Hey Buzzy".   He is and forever will be greatly missed and our memories of him will always be cherished.

Love to all the families that had the privelage to know such a great person!

To Eilene and your family,

While I have only known Delynn for 15 years, I gained enourmous respect for him immediately, he was a very kind and giving soul, with just a little bit of a mean streak to keep you on your toes.

We are appreciative of everything he has done for our family over the years. I am equally grateful for DeLynn allowing me the opportunity to work for him this past year. It is truly the greatest work experience I have had to this point.

I am going to miss seeing him and talking hunting/pullin'/workin'/ and families, he was always interested in what our family was up to, he would always say "you take care of your family Kiddo".

We love you DeLynn........

Found out that this had happened thru the NewAgTalk Website. It is with deep sorrow that we hear about such a great person and friend passing on. We really wish we could be there, but distance and harvest beginning in this part of the country prohibits that, but that is something that DeLynn would have understood, as he was such a great supporter of Agriculture/Farmers. I had the pleasure of knowing him thru the Ohio Young Farmers, as a customer, and also as an employee, but greatest of all, was knowing him as a true friend.

Eilene, Troy, Jo Anne, Chad, all those at Kale Marketing, we greatly appreciate what you are going thru, and we wish you strength and prayers as you move forward. I wish at this point we weren't so far away, that we could be there. Lot's of good memories flooded back as we got the news. DeLynn will truly be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  I have such great memories of Delynn. For instance the way he would keep an eye on Grandma Houk. The way he helped me with an FFA project (getting corn stalks out of the field at like midnite because I was afraid of the dark and spiders!), or answering any question I had about ag, or tractor pulling. The day of my dads funeral, he kept me strong, just by eye contact and a smile. Thanks, DeLynn, you will be missed and remembered by many.

Ike, RaeLynn, Terri
After reading all the write ups since DeLynn's passing. I am so proud of him and what he had acomplished in his 65 years. I have so many wonderful memories of him going all the way back to 7th grade When Byhalia and York consolidated. DeLynn along with Gene Green & Johnny Stilling's, the inseparable trio, and they were my "best buddies" all the way from 7th grade until we graduated. And the different fazes of our lives since our school days just bought more great memories. From 13 years in card club together and husbands party's in our Mothers Club. Those are wonderful memories and I am sure he and Russ are in heaven right now discussing what they have to trade with each other.
You all are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I love you all  from Jerry and Peg Gray-Weaver.
