Gladys May Sharp
Gladys May SharpGladys May Sharp, age 95, of LaRue, Ohio died Thursday June 10, 2010 at her home.  She was born July 2, 1914 in Millpoint, W. VA to the late Samuel Thomas and Zellabelle (Albert) Wamsley.  On February 24, 1932 she married James Oliver Sharp and he died May 7, 2001.

She is survived by daughter; Gentellene Violet Moon of Lima, Ohio, son: Doral James (Paula) Sharp Sr. of LaRue, Ohio. 8 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren and 12 Great Great Grandchildren. Sister: Annviebelle Moore of Wooster, Ohio. She was preceded in death by daughter; Juellene Sharp, sister; Golden Violet Sharp and brother; Glayden D. Wamsley.

Mrs. Sharp was a homemaker, member of the House of Worship Church of God in Kenton, Ohio. She enjoyed playing the piano, Dominos, Traveling, and spending time with family.

Funeral Services will be held Monday June 14, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue.  Minister will be Bishop Terry McBeathe.  Burial in the Fairview Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue 2 hours before service time on Monday.  

Those who wish may make contributions to the Family in care of the funeral home.

Sorry to hear Granny Sharp passed away.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you - Doral, Paula and children.  I am sure Granny will be missed tremendously.  I remember her good ole' homemade biscuits!  We love you all.

I think about all of you often. You both strengthened my faith durig rough times.
PAULA YOU WILL ALWAYS BE MY SISTER. SORRYABOUT YOUR LOSS BUT YOUR MOM IS WITH OUR LORD JESUS AND YOU WILL BE WITH HER IN ETURNITY.
