Mildred M. Davids
Mildred M. DavidsMildred M. Davids, age 92 of Sylvania, formerly of Prospect died early Sunday morning, August 8, 2010 at Sunset Village in Sylvania.  She was born May 16, 1918 in Monroeville to the late Herbert and Lena (Reinhart) Wade.

On August 28, 1941 she married Kenneth “Kenny” Davids and he died June 5, 1994.

She was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Prospect Garden Club, Prospect Senior Citizens and Prospect TOPS.

She is survived by a daughter, Karen (Jerry) Sigler, Onsted, Michigan; a son, Keith Davids, Prospect; 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Wade and sister, Alice (Bill) Young.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Prospect with Pastor Richard Allen of the Prospect United Methodist Church officiating.  Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 from 5 to 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Prospect Senior Citizens, 318 N. Elm Street, Prospect, OH 43342 or the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601-7633  (www.alz.org).

Karen and Keith, I will be keeping everyone in my thoughts and prayers.  Will always have great memories of our trips to the lake with your mom and dad and just hanging out at the house in Prospect.

Many good times were spent with your parents. I am so sorry of her loss. I know she is in a better place.
So very sorry I could not have come over. My cousin'funeral is the same time today. Would have loved to seen you both and families. Please know my thought and prayers are with you. Peggy
