Maxine V. Dutton
Maxine V. DuttonVioletMaxine V. Dutton, 91 peacefully passed this life February 2, 2014 under the loving care of Kindred Nursing home and Acclaim Hospice.  She was born February 11, 1922 in Hepburn to Alton and Edna Harrison.

She graduated from LaRue High School in 1939.  Maxine married Donald L. Dutton April 17, 1945 while he was in the U. S. Marine Corps and he survives to cherish her memory.  She was a member of LaRue United Methodist Church.

Maxine was indeed a “busy bee,” always on the run, being ready for the next task.  She was a partner with Don in the “Dutton Body Shop” and the “Camper Trailer Sales” for over 40 years.

They always enjoyed their winters in Florida starting in the 1950s and returned in May this past year for the last time.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Edna Harrison, a daughter, Judith Dutton and a son, Dennis Dutton.  She is survived by her husband Don Dutton; a daughter, Mona Fletcher of Toledo; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a very special angel.

The family wishes to thank all the special nurses at Kindred and Penny, Diane and Steph from Acclaim Hospice for their love, care and support during this most difficult time.

Graveside Services will be held Thursday June 12, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the LaRue Cemetery, her daughter Mona Fletcher will be officiating.  Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, LaRue is assisting the family with arrangements.

If so desired, memorial donations may be made in Maxine’s name to Acclaim Hospice, 2800 Corporate Exchange Drive, Columbus, OH  43231.
