Wanda Alleta Butz, age 92, of rural Mt. Victory, died Monday May 5, 2014 at 3:32 AM at her residence. She was born August 8, 1921 in Marion County to the late Clifton and Viola (Brothers) Lindsay. On January 18, 1945 she married Richard Clair Butz and he died March 2, 2009.

She is survived by Larry R. (Dawn) Butz of rural Mt. Victory, Daughter in law Wendy Butz of LaRue and Son in law Paul Savage of Prospect. Grandchildren; Rhonda (William) Ogden, Robin Randles, Bryan (Jodie) Savage, Andrea Bostelman, David Savage, Jill (Chad) Lydestrom, Alison (Tim) Risner, and Cheyenne Farmer. Thirteen Great Grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two sons; David K. Butz and Jerry D. Butz, daughter; Carol L. Savage, brother; Robert Lindsay and sister; Dorothy Lindsay.

Alleta was a farm wife and homemaker, sold eggs and made quilts, and dearly loved her family.

Graveside Services will be held Wednesday May 7, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the LaRue Cemetery. Minister will be Pastor Tim Pasma. The Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue is helping the family with arrangements.

Just wanted you to know that we were neighbors for many years and, though not often, enjoyed her visits.  She was a hard working farm wife, so proud of her family. You have my sympathy.
