Fern and Faye, I am so sorry to hear of your fathers passing. I enjoyed getting to know him while I worked as the activity director at milcrest.  He was funny and I enjoyed his comments. He was also knowledgable and enjoyed talking of his past.  I know he loved listening to musical entertainers when I would schedule them and he enjoyed whenever we would have childrens programs.  The sparkle in his eye couldnt be denied.  He also loved Christmas and when Santa would visit.  I loved the way he tried to take care of his sister Helen, as they always dined together at Milcrest.  If if thought she needed something he would alert someone. I know you will miss him and the visits to see him, but how wonderful that you had this darling man in your lives for so long!!! Be well and remember his spirit will always be with you.

To Uncle Earnest\'s family, I was saddened to hear of "Shorty\'s" passing. We had many great times either on his cycle, fishing or riding on Richwood Lake on the ice in his tiller sled with the ice wheels!\r
I will be out of state for the viewings and funeral but send my condolences. I visited with him many times at  Millcrest over the past few years and enjoyed my time with him.  My best to all and God bless the family.\r
