Ellis Bosart Jr.
Ellis Bosart Jr. Bosart BasketballEllis Bosart Jr.  87 of LaRue, died peacefully Saturday morning March 21, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born January 9, 1928 in Green Camp to the late Ellis and Ruth (Hall) Bosart; he was also predeceased by one sister: Elizabeth Ullmer

On June 26, 1953 at the LaRue United Methodist Church he married the former Marian M. (Price) and she survives, also surviving are two daughters: Joni (Bob) Osbun of New Bloomington and Jackie Brouse of Marion, two grandsons: Ryan and Kyle Osbun and one sister: Norabel Anderson of Columbus

Junior is loved and will be missed. He had a heart of gold and was a gentle soul. He spent his lifetime enjoying and loving his family. Junior enjoyed most sports and was a star basketball player at the York High School , where he graduated from in 1946. He served in the National Guard for 12 years. Junior was a dedicated employee of BF Goodrich for 38 yrs. & Parker Hannifin for 4yrs. He loved camping, fishing, family, friends, and traveling. He was loved and respected by many, he had bright blue eyes that sparkled, a story that would make you laugh, and a smile that would warm your heart.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday March 25, 2015 at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue at 11:00 am with Pastor Mike Raypholtz officiating, burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery near LaRue, friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue Tuesday from 5-7 pm

Special thanks to niece Jeannie Oberdier, Marion General Health Care and Marion General Hospice for their loving care.
