Saturday was a very sad day for Bill and me.  We grew to love Steve and Deb over the past 2 yrs. since becoming their neighbor.  He had such a generous heart, was always quick to lend a hand when needed, had an infectious smile, and a great sense of humor.
We will miss you, my friend.

The family has my deepest sympathies. I worked with Steve for many years at Honda. He was a good Honda Man and more important a good person. He gave me good advice and support even when I didn't request it!

Deb-

Words cannot describe how much Steve meant to me.  He was one the best mentor I have ever had in work and in life and always pushed you to become better than you even thought you could be.  Some of the best moments of my life were spent with Lee, Larry and Steve in the that little office in the Facilities department.  He was a great man but an even better person.  They don't make men like Steve R. Baker anymore.

Deepest Regrets
Ryan

Steve was a great mentor of mine. He made me better at what I do.
I respected him and he did me. It meant so much for a man like him to think of me the way he did.

I too am a former Honda Associate who worked with Steve for many years.  He was a mentor to me when I joined Honda in 1987.  I have so many fond memories, funny stories and life lessons that I carry with me to this day.  Steve's impact lives in those of us who had the privilage to know him.  May God Bless and comfort his family during this time.

Very shocked by the news.  We are so glad we showed up Monday -- not knowing your world would be turned upside down just a few days later.  Both of you were so much fun to be around during the work and after. Hoping your memories can bring you comfort.
