PEGGY /AND CHILDEN I FIRST MEET ERNIE IN 1958 WHEN I STATER DATING HIS BROTHER MELVIN.I HAD THE PLESURE OF GROWING UP WITH ALL THE JAMISON KIDS . I ALSO GOT TO SEE ERNIE AS A SHIPYARD WORKER,POLICEMAN .WE DID BOATING ,BOWLING,RACING.
WHEN ERNIE MOVE TO OHIO I ALSO HAD THE PLESURE OF HELPING ERNIE RAISE HIS CHILDEN WHILE ON OVER THE ROAD TRUCKING ON WEEK ENDS WE TALK HIS CHILDEN AND OUR CHILDEN GO TO THE BALL FIELD I WATCH THE MEN PLAY BALL WITH THE CHILDEN .ON WEEK ENDS MELVIN GO FOR COFFEE COME HOME WILL BEHIND HIM WOULD COME ERNIE AND CARL BECUSE THEY KNEW HIS BROTHER WOULD BE HAVING GRAVY . PEGGY WE ARE SO GLAD WHEN YOU CAME INTO ERNIE LIFE AND GAVE HIM AND HIS CHILDEN AND YOUR CHILDEN .YOU ALL BECAME HIS AND MINE AND MADE A BEAUTFULL LIFE FOR THAT WE AS A FAMILY WITH OPEN ARMS THATS WHEN YOU AND YOUR CHILDEN BECAME OUR FAMILY .PEGGY AND ALL CHILDEN WE ARE SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS OF A HUBAND FATHER GRANDFATHER .HE WILL BE MISS MY HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS . I am sorry for your loss. He was a very kind man. I can remember when my dad was sick and battling with his cancer Ernie was right there by his side holding my dads hand and reassuring him that everything would be okay. He will be deeply missed. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
