Although our paths only crossed briefly while playing baseball, I can see why there is such an outpouring of sentiment for Shawn. Not only did Shawn never say a bad thing about anyone, he found a way to say something good, and was always great to be around. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and community.

Jim & Sandy & family,
So sad to hear about Shawn. Somehow the Shawn I remember grew up, but I will always remember him when he was a kid pitching for Broadway Little League. He was awesome. He was a fine young man and he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers for you.
