Shawn M. Evans
Shawn M. EvansCleveland BrownsShawn M. Evans 41 of Richwood, died unexpectedly Wednesday July 1, 2015 at his home.

He was born August 31, 1973 in Delaware to James H. and Sandra L. (Graves) Evans, they survive in Broadway.

Shawn worked for the Village of Richwood, most recently on the Streets Dept., he was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Marysville, an avid Cleveland Browns and Nascar Fan, his favorite driver was Kasey Kahne. Shawn relished the time he spent with his friends watching and cheering for their favorite teams.

His greatest joy in life was his family, he adored his children and loved being with them.

Surviving along with his parents is his wife Shannon (Miller) Evans, whom he married March 9, 2002 at Trinity Lutheran Church, three children: Shawn Matthew Evans Jr., Brooke Danielle Miller and Emma Josephine Evans all of Richwood
several brothers, sisters and nieces and nephews

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday July 7, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, Pastor Barry Scott will officiate, friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 4-7 pm, burial will be in the Broadway Cemetery

Memorial gifts may be made to the R.E.A. P. (the food pantry in Richwood) at 235 Grove St. Richwood, Ohio 43344 and or the North Union Personal Needs Pantry at 18 South Fulton Street Richwood, OH 43344 or to the Evans family C/O the funeral home

Although our paths only crossed briefly while playing baseball, I can see why there is such an outpouring of sentiment for Shawn.  Not only did Shawn never say a bad thing about anyone, he found a way to say something good, and was always great to be around.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and community.

So sad to hear about Shawn. Somehow the Shawn I remember grew up, but I will always remember him when he was a kid pitching for Broadway Little League. He was awesome. He was a fine young man and he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers for you.

I am so sorry about Shawn's passing.  I have many fond memories of Shawn as a student, but most of all, the Marysville High School baseball games. Shawn had a great attitude and team spirit.  Praying for you all.

To Shawns family I pray you will find peace with this loss. I used to ride the bus with Shawn when we lived in Broadway.  I will miss him coming into my work every other week or so getting parts for the The Village. I am sad to say I cannot make it tonight so again I am sorry for your loss.
