Just tonight I was amazed at my 8 yr old son's new crush on a girl at school. It brought me back to 3rd grade at Elgin and how much of a crush I had on Chad. I have never forgotten him. He was my first crush and so very sweet. To read this news is heartbreaking. It reminds me how fleeting and precious our time here really is.

I held my breath for a moment, reading about Chad. My prayer and condolence to all of the Cobb/Kramp family and friends. Kamma, what a Blessing you are to care for a loved one in such a difficult time in their life. Stay strong. David...I'm sorry for the shattered pieces of your Spirit. Grieving the loss of a child is beyond explainable, take all the time you need. God Bless Chad's entire family. Koneta Shelton.
