On October 23, 1949 he married the former Eula Jean Gulliford in the First United Methodist Church in Richwood and she died November 6, 2014. He was also preceded in death by an infant sister, Lois Jean Davis.

RICHWOOD — Robert L. Davis, 67, 50 Rose St, Magnetic Springs, died Monday afternoon Oct 2, 1989 at his home following a brief illness.
He was bom in Virginia, Minn., Oct. 18, 1921, a son of the late Vernon and Maude Isles Davis.
A World War H U.S. Navy veteran, he was retired from employment as a security officer with B.F. Goodrich after 33 years of service.
