Richwood
Built in the mid-1880s, this beautiful 2-story building was once home to the Kuba family, who raised 18 children there. It became Cheney Funeral Home in the 1960s and was purchased by Ed and Barbara Stofcheck in 1973. It is now the main location for Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Homes. Featuring a very large chapel with comfortable seating, it boasts a cozy kitchenette for refreshment and relaxation and a beautiful parlor room just off the chapel which is home to the organ and piano. |

Prospect
Known as the Gehm Funeral Home for many years, Richard Ballinger purchased it in 1972 when it became the Gehm-Ballinger Funeral Home. A major renovation in the mid eighties provided a spacious chapel in an otherwise quaint house on the corner. A full kitchen is at families' disposal as well as a comfortable lounge. |

LaRue
Constructed in the 1960s, this building was designed from the beginning to be a funeral home. It was first known as the Ford Funeral Home before the Stofchecks purchased it in 1969. The spacious traditional chapel is complemented by the charming adjacent "flower room" which houses the organ and piano and offers a retreat for those seeking a cup of coffee and a comfy chair. |
