Paul E. Wright
Paul E. Wright, 63, 180 S. High St., LaRue, died Monday morning Nov 28, 1988 at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Kenton.
Born in LaRue Oct. 28,1925, he was a son of the late Frank and Jenny Williams Wright.
A retired steelworker of Armco Steel after 32 years of service, he served as staff representative for United Steelworkers of America from 1979-87. At the time of his retirement in 1987, he also retired as president of Marion AFL-CIO. He was a charter member of the Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees.
Mr. Wright, a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, was active in the Marion County Democrat Club, served on the Marion County Private Industry Council board and was Democratic central committeeman for LaRue. He was a member of LaRue United Methodist Church.
On Nov. 4,1946, he married Wilma Jean Reiter, who survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Larry Joe, Roger Allen, David Lee and Phillip Neal Wright, New Bloom-ington; three daughters, Mrs. John (Paula Jean) Everett, Marion, Carolyn Sue Porter, Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. Dan (Charlotte Ann) Bush, Waldo; a sister, Mrs. Carl (June) Gray, Chesterville; and seven grandchildren. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
The service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Stofcheck Funeral  Home, LaRue, with the Rev. Edwin  K. Vance officiating. Burial will  follow in LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2  p.m. and in the evening Wednesday,  Memorial contributions may be  made to LaRue UM Church.
