Wayne N. Cox
Wayne N. CoxHarley HeritageWayne N. Cox, age 66 of Claibourne died unexpectedly Monday, April 9, 2012.  He was born November 13, 1945 in Fayette County to the late Clark Collins and Mary Athlanda (Daines) Cox.  He was also preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

On July 4, 1984 he married the former Corinne O’Neal and she survives.  He is also survived by two daughters, Cathy Jo Cox, Kentucky; Brenda Lee (Mike) Landon, Milford Center; a step-daughter, Brandy Nichole O’Neal, Marion; a sister, Natalie Null, Jeffersonville; two grandsons, Jacob Landon and Swazey Sexton; and a step-grandson, Maverick Moore.

He retired in 2009 from the Scott’s Company in Marysville after 36 years as a forklift operator.  He enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles.

Graveside services will be Friday, April 13, 2012 at 1:00 PM in the Claibourne Cemetery with Frankie Morrow officiating.  In keeping with Wayne’s wishes, there will be no public visitation.

Memorial gifts may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

So sorry for your loss, but I only have good thoughts of him growing up...like the time he let us ride his three wheeler in the back yard and always let me help him feed his dogs outback...nuttin but smiles. Be at peace and have love for the ones around you everyday.

To my best friend in this world and family. Times are tuff when tragic hits right at home. With the many memories u have made with yr dad will help get u thru this tuff times. As u know u have been there for me and ill always be there for u. My Prayers go out to u,mavi rick and yr mom, step sisters and there families.
Yr Dad was a great father he didn't have to be but he choose to be! There so many memories of him in the past 26 yrs we have friends.  So ill share with u when needed! All m y love to u as always!!!

Although I did not know Wayne very well, my mother Cindy Litteral has told me a lot. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family.
