Anna Mae Blue
Anna Mae BlueCrochetAnna Mae Blue, 85 of Marion, died peacefully Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Marion Manor.

She was born April 8, 1933 in Delaware to the late Harry and Ida (Clark) Johnston.  On October 28, 1951 she married Jonah Blue and he died December 6, 2010. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Barry Johnston and Donald Johnston.

She had worked at B. F. Goodrich for many years. Anna Mae enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint, and was an excellent cook.

She is survived by three daughters, Deborah Dawson, Jacksonville, Florida; Karen (James) Blue-Temple, Marion; Sharon (Tony Wasserman) Blue, Phoenix, Arizona; two brothers, Edward Johnston and Larry (Linda) Johnston, all of Florida; five sisters, Grace Deffendall, Indiana; Barb Dendinger, Marion; Betty (Roy) Stapleton, Marion; Donna (Earl) McCurry, Marion; Jo Ann (Ron) Clinger, LaRue; five grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Friday, August 3, 2018 at noon at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood, Pastor Joe Rhea will officiate. Burial will follow in Price Cemetery.

I met Anna Mae when I lived at Marion Towers. She was a very sweet lady. I am so sorry to hear of her passing.
