John was always pleasant to talk to! A regular customer at the Mini Mart, he spoke every time I saw him. He will be missed

John always asked about my girls. About my wife. Offered to buy me a drink a few times while working (pop water juice etc). Bought me and my girls cookies once. I knew him when he struggled. I knew him after. And he was always a decent person. We will miss you John coming into our little store. Thanks for being a bright spot every time you came in. Or even saw us somewhere. I hope you find your peace in the afterlife.

Beverlee Kandel I’ve known John Boy most my life being best friends with his sister Laurie throughout our lives. He always cared how others were doing, sweet, hard worker, do any for u if could, so funny, always made me laugh. In the last 5 yrs I had the pleasure to spend awesome times with him, and so grateful he gave me our last laughs together the nite before his passing. I love him and will truly miss him. RIP my dear friend. So sry for his families loss, may God give u comfort and strength thru this time. ❤️

My heart goes out to John. Pray for his secure place in Heaven. I remember John as always being joyful, kind, and willing to help others.
Do not know why he died when he did, but he will be missing terribly.
Rest In the peaceful arms of the Lord.John.
