I was just out of college, living and working in Mt. Gilead. Doc sold seed in that area. He would take me to lunch. We would talk farming. Just a good memory of him.

Rex, Jim, GeorgeAnn & family, Growing up in Richwood, I first knew your dad from the service station. As a teen driver, I was allowed 5 gallons of gas per week on my dad’s tab at the station: more than that was up to me. Years later we reconnected at Galion Hospital when your mom was ill & I became very fond of Doc then. He loved his family & I know he’ll be missed by all of you.

Rex and Jim, so sorry to hear about your Dad. He was a good friend of my Dad. We were all part of the Cushman family. I also babysit for Doc and Kate. Many good memories. Richwood will miss seeing Doc in his shiny truck heading uptown for coffee.💕

I will fondly remember Doc as a friend, neighbor and church mate. My family had many conversations when seeing Doc drive by our house and how immaculate his truck always was. (Maybe a couple conversations about him stretching the speed limit by a couple mph 🙂) My thoughts and prayers of comfort to Rex, Jim, George Ann and families with special thoughts to Deb Brady who took such loving care of him as his health turned frail.
