Clifton Conley Sr.
Clifton Conley Sr.FlagClifton Conley Sr., 88 of Richwood, died Thursday January 4, 2024 at his home.

He was born February 15, 1935 in Morgan County, Kentucky to the late James F. And Monie (Holbrook) Conley. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Carroll, brothers, Clifford, Curtis, Clyde, Harold and Glenn Conley.

Clifton served our country in the United States Army. He had worked for Fruehauf Trucking in Westerville as a forklift operator. He had also previously worked at the former Galena Brick Plant.
He enjoyed riding his four-wheeler, playing guitar, watching westerns and when he was younger, hunting and golfing.
Clifton belonged to the VFW Post in Sunbury.

Surviving are his children, Sherry (David) Perkins of Richwood and Clifton (Jennifer) Conley Jr. of Waldo
Grandchildren, Brandon Long, Drake Long and Eric Conley
Great Grandchildren, Landan Long, Bella Staton, Ivy Long and Bianca Long
Sister, Delores (Ray) Dillon of Vermillion
Many dear nieces and nephews and extended family that will miss him.

Memorial services will be held Sunday January 14, 2024 at 4:00 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. Willie Caudill will officiate. There will be Military Honors given by the Richwood Area Veterans. Friends may call two hours prior to the service beginning at 2:00 pm at the funeral home in Richwood.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project
