Murray David Carpenter 13, 1924 in Marion to the late Noah and Grace (Brown) Carpenter. On September 24, 1976 he married Jodene Nelson and she survives.

| William D. “Bill” Carpenter y were married January 17, 1982 in Ostrander and she died September 15, 2020. Also preceding him in death was his brothers: Robert, Donald and James Carpenter, sisters, Dorothy Garwood and Mary Lou Hoover, and step grandson, Dennis Schmidt.
Bill was retired from LabCorp in Dublin. He had also worked on his farm all of his life.
