She was born Nov. 3, 1901, in Marion County's Bowling Green Township to the late William and Maude (Stoddard) Buyer. A home-maker, Miss Buyer was a former member of Richwood Senior Citizens.

She was born in LaRue Nov. 15, 1910, a daughter of John W. and Bertha Pollard Noggle.
She was retired from employment with Peerless Cleaners. Mrs. Buyer was a member of LaRue United Methodist Church and its Mary Marth Circle and a former member of Bowling Green Grange.
Her husband, Oris L. Buyer, died March 14,1985. They were married July 1,1929.
