Evelyn Rose "Rosie" Preston 's started "Ross Bros Auto salvage" just east of Marengo. They had sons Kenneth in 1944 and Randy in 1955. She moved back to Richwood in 1962 after Mitchell’s death in 1959 and then losing her mother Jennie Mae Grandstaff (Debolt) and step father Benjamin Grandstaff within 18 months.
