Born Dec. 7, 1951, she was the daughter of the late James and Ethel (Martin) Wright, her mother survives in New Bloomington.

A 1941 graduate of Richwood High School, she attended Marion Business College and had been employed at O. M. Scotts of Marysville. She married James H. Baker on March 12, 1945 and for the next 60 years family became the center of her life. She worked on the family farm until her husband’s death on March 2, 2005. He was the son of the late James H. and Margaret (Chandler) Baker.
Roger was a long-time respected teacher at North Union High School.
Surviving is his wife Peggy Baker, they were married June 8, 1968 in Rio Grande.
