She was born May 8, 1917, in New Bloomington, a daughter of the late Earl and Mabel Manning Drake.
She married Virgil Ira Robert Johnson in 1930. He died in 1986.
A bookkeeper for Lynn Drug Co., Columbus, for 50 years, Mrs. Johnson owned a meat shop in Columbus for 18 years. She was a graduate df New Bloomington High School.

Nursing Home at Kenton follow-ing a long illness.
She was the widow of William F. Kniffin.
A native of LaRue, she was I a member of the LaRue Baptist Church, Pythian Sisters, Mary Lenox Chapter 98 of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Happie Tyme Club.

| Ivamae Johnson Smith Ivamae Johnson Smith, 92, formerly of Richwood and Rockledge, Florida, died Saturday, September 5, 2015 at DeWolfe Place in Marion. She was born January 29, 1923 near Richwood to the late Ray and Orpha (Howison) Johnson.
A 1941 graduate of Richwood High School, she spent most of her life in Florida where she married Harry W. Smith on March 20, 1947. He died in 1974. She was also preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
