He was born on July 22, 1931 in Prospect to the late Wilfred and Mary (Coleman) Knickel. He was united in marriage on November 22, 1953 to Peggy Evelyn Daugherty, and she preceded him in death on March 3, 2019 after 66 years of wonderful love and devotion. Harley Kramp d Esther Fae Wilson in 1948 and they went on to celebrate 50 years of marriage. Two years after Esther’s death, Harley married Lorrain Shelton in 2000. They enjoyed 21 years together in Dallas before Lorrain’s passing in May 2022.
