Janis Lorene (Patrick) Welsh ed in a wee bit of mischief with her older siblings and friends. She was a 1945 graduate of Richwood High School, and the salutatorian of her class. She remained close throughout life to six of her school friends: Martha Moore, Ruth Eileen Shirk, Betty Simmons, Monie Sellers, Dottie Davis, and Donna Riedmiller. She referred to the group as the “Get-Together Girls” as they had frequent ‘get-togethers’ through the years.

services will be conducted by the Richwood VFW and American Legion
posts. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Jeff and Max Robinson, Randy and Jerry Moore, Ron
Belville and Jim Johnson. Larry Nibert will be an honorary pallbearer.

Dwight L. Wenig Bryan Wenig (Donyell) of Marion; and Jeanette Drake (Jeff) of Find-lay. He is survived by 17 grand children and three great-grand children. Also surviving are his three brothers, Henry (Nancy) of Carroll, George (Marcia) of Mooresville, N.G., and Ralph (Roseanna) Wenig of New Bloomington.

Catherine Wilda Wright 2, formerly of 925 LaRue Green Camp Road, LaRue, died Thursday, July 9, 1998, at 4:15 a.m. at Maplewood Nursing Home in Marion. She was born June 6,1906, in Marion County, to the late Ira and Mortie (Moore) Carter. On April 16, 1927, she married G. Bernard Wright and he died Feb. 26, 1982.
Mrs. Wright was a retired school teacher, taught many years for the Pleasant Local Schools, in all she taught for more than 25 years. more... |
