| Blanche Elizabeth Lauer On August 26, 2014, Blanche Elizabeth Lauer, 97, went home to be with the Lord. She was born on February 16, 1917, the only child of John and Bertha (Lodwig) Penry. She spent her lifetime on her family farm outside Prospect.

Charlie was a retired rural mail carrier with over thirty years of service with the Prospect Post Office. He was a lifetime member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Prospect where he was a long-time custodian and Treasurer.

Lee Roy Layton of Prospect died peacefully and went home to be with his Lord at the age of 77 on Wednesday, November 15, 2006. He had suffered from Alzheimer's disease for many years, but was able to remain at home, even after becoming bedridden three and a half years ago, due to the loving care of his wife, Cynthia.
