Ernest C. Schrote Ernest C. Schrote, age 90 of rural Prospect, died early Tuesday morning, January 17, 2012 at Marion Manor, where he had been a beloved resident since May. He was born January 25, 1921 in Marion County to the late Moses Samuel and Anna Christina (Rinnert) Schrote.
On March 14, 1943 he married the former Rachel “Jeanne” Drake and she died September 20, 2007. He is also preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Holt.
