| Merle J. Thomas ASCS Manager for the U. S. Department of Agriculture Merle
J. Thomas, 78, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 1996 at Marion General
Hospital. The Prospect area resident had been in failing health
for 12 years.
The Prospect native was born May 16, 1918, son of the late
Elliott M. and Ozella I. Thibaut Thomas. He married the former
Pauline R. Reiff June 1, 1940.

RICHWOOD—Esther Irene Thompson, 96, formerly of the Claiboume area, died Thursday evening January 12, 1995 at Cancio Home Care Center, Sunbury, where she had been residing.
Born Jan. 21, 1898, in Claibourne Township, she was the daughter of George W. and Belle A. (Hitt) Moore.
In 1917,she married Albert J. Thompson. He died in 1972.
