| Kenneth D. “Doc” Welty 2, due to the passing of his mother, he was adopted by Earnest and Elsie Welty of West Mansfield, they also preceded him in death.
When in high School he was proud of playing in a 10 piece orchesta in various places in the area, he was a noted baseball coach, starting youth teams in the West Mansfield area.
Doc was a graduate of the OSU Veterinary School of Medicine, veteran of the Army during WW II.
