RICHWOOD—Formner Claibourne area resident Leah M. Earick, 92, died Sunday morning November 14, 1993 at Marion Manor, Marion.
She was born Feb. 6, 1901, in Claibourne, a daughter of George W. and Belle A. (Hitt) Moore. The home-maker was a member of Advent Christian Church, Claibourne, where she had taught Sunday School for 45 years.
She married Homer B. Earick in March 1934, and he died in 1983.

She was a long-time member of the VFW Post 870 Ladies Auxiliary. She loved gardening, quilting, and making doll clothes and baby clothes for her grandkids. Her real enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

| Dutch Van Eck he United States, coming to California. He worked as an engineer while there. Dutch and his family moved to Ohio in 1994.
He was veteran of the United States Army.
His Ohio career consisted of being a car salesman, a job he greatly enjoyed. He also had worked for Kalmbach Feeds in Upper Sandusky.
Dutch loved boating and fishing, his special place was the Pacific Ocean in California (the fish are bigger there).
