LARUE — Kate (Tucker) Thomas, 88,175 McCormick St., died 2:30 p.m. Monday June 7, 1993 at MedCenter Hospital.
Born Jan. 26, 1905, in Mason County, W. Va., she was a daughter of the late George and Clara Lou Slaughter Sayre.
In 1921, she married Bradie Tucker. He died in 1941. In 1956, she married Eugene Thomas, who is deceased.

LARUE — Elbon V. "Tom" Tucker, age 78, of 175 N. Swain Ave, LaRue, Ohio, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, at 11:55 a.m. at his residence.
He was born Jan. 9, 1922, in Buffalo, W.Va, to the late Brady and Kate (Sayre) Tucker.
On July 28, 1946, he married Gladys Smyers, and she survives.

George William Walker
George William Walker, 73, formerly of 580 N. Front St., LaRue, died Sunday July 30, 1995 at Community Nursing Center.
Born June 7, 1922, in Buffalo. W.Va., he was the son of the late Julius and Pheba (Sayre) Walker.
On Aug. 6, 1942, he married Judith V. Carlyle, and she survives.
A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was employed as core paster at Commercial Steel and later at Marion Power Shovel.

Roy Lee Walker y Lee Walker 88 formerly of New Bloomington, died Thursday February 4, 2016 at the Marion Manor Nursing Home, where he had been residing.
He was born September 14, 1927 in Buffalo, West Virginia to the late Julius and Pheba (Sayre) Walker
Roy was retired from the Marion Power Shovel where he worked as a welder.
