She was born June 10, 1937 in Richwood to the late Raymond and Avanell (Fisher) Tanner and was raised by her grandparents, Chloa and Sydney Longshore. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Ballard, whom she married on May 19, 1956 and he died June 30, 1994; three brothers, Robert Tanner, Raymond Tanner and Joe Mitchell.

RICHWOOD — Ronnie E. Ballard, 56, Newark, formerly of the RichWOOD area, died early Thursday morning June 30, 1994 at Licking Memorial Hospital, Newark.
Bom March 7, 1938, in Columbus, he was the son of George E. and Delores (Call) Ballard. 11 : Mr. Ballard was retired from the New ark Air Force Base as an electric techni-cian. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association and a member of Zanesville Honor Lodge 726 F&AM.

He was retired as manager of Hertz Rental Car in Marion after 30 years of service. He had formerly farmed, worked at the former Pure Oil and Standard Oil gas stations in Marion, been in the trucking business, hauling milk to Belle Center and sold machinery for the International Harvester Company.
